Blogging is new to me so be patient with me. Hopefully this will be like a journal of life out here in the Texas Hill Country on a private Nature Preserve where I have been photographing the wildlife for over 6 years now. I moved out here in March of this year and each day living down in the little cabin in what we call the first canyon has been an adventure!
My first week was just getting the wildlife out from around the cabin and setting boundaries on where I live and where they can hang out.
So after the Rat snake was not allowed to hang out over the front door to wait on the Eastern Phoebe's little ones to hatch, life has slowed down a little. The Phoebe's went on to have 2 layings, and fledging 8 new residents.
